2007 Bell Shakespeare Regional Teacher Scholarships
In 2007 Bell Shakespeare, with the financial support of the Department of Education, Science and Training, will provide a national teaching Shakespeare Scholarship for 12 teachers from remote and regional Australia to attend a 5-day intensive course designed to inspire the group to continue to bring the works of Shakespeare into the classroom. The aim is to create alumni who will return to their respective communities energised and keen to share their experience and knowledge within the school community. Details of how to apply for the scholarship, along with teacher eligibility requirements will be available and sent to schools early in 2007.
