Leap case studies document innovative teaching, learning and curriculum practices at the University of Adelaide. Each case study briefly describes its genesis, aims, delivery and evaluation. Innovation requires the use of new ideas, or the novel use of an established teaching practice, to promote a change in learning outcomes for students. The innovation may be informed by educational theory, or it may be the result of 'teacher intuition' about what might work better in a particular situation. Case studies are classified under three group headings: by academic discipline, by educational focus, and by priorities within the University's Learning and Teaching Plan 2000-2002.
