IFLA/UNESCO Internet Manifesto Guidelines
The guidelines are intended for use by library and information professionals, decision makers and educational leaders, to help interpret and implement the IFLA Internet Manifesto, endorsed by the Council of IFLA in 2002. The Internet Manifesto describes shared values, principles of performance and a vision of best practice related to the preservation of freedom of access to information on the Internet. The guidelines are intended to offer guidance to library and information professionals, policymakers, and politicians in drawing up policies concerning public access to networked information in libraries. The publication contains a copy of the Manifesto.
