Le@rning Federation wins AMIA Award
The Le@rning Federation was awarded the 13th Annual Australian Interactive Media Industry Association (AIMIA) Award under the Best Learning and Education category. Their winning entry, Frog Pond Habitat, is an interactive learning object series designed for years 5-9. It provides students with the opportunity to investigate, gather, synthesise and evaluate data in virtual environments. Using the learning object students can perform all the activities that they would do on a field trip - without the need to leave the classroom.
