National survey of Research Commercialisation report released
The practical application of research undertaken by Australia's universities and institutions continues to increase, as indicated in a new report released today by the Minister for Education, Science and Training, the Hon Julie Bishop MP. "The National Survey of Research Commercialisation (NSRC) report gathers information from universities, publicly funded research institutions and medical research institutes," Minister Bishop said. "This important report provides new data for the years 2003 and 2004, as well as incorporating trends during the period from 2000 to 2004." The report and a companion volume capturing a series of commercialisation case studies reported by respondents to the survey are available at: www.dest.gov.au/research/NSRCR03_04
