Benchmarking in Australian Higher Education: a thematic analysis of AUQA audit reports
From time to time, AUQA carries out or commissions analyses of its audit reports to gain an overview of the information arising from the institutional audits. These analyses give institutions, their governing bodies, senior management, staff, students, and other stakeholders useful information on the issues that emerge from institutional audits. This document is one such thematic analysis, presenting information on benchmarking in the Australian higher education sector. It covers the 38 audit reports of Australian universities that were in the public domain by June 2007.
