Rudd to focus Cabinet on education plan

Prime Minister-elect Kevin Rudd says education reform will be the first priority when Federal Cabinet meets next week. At his election campaign launch, Mr Rudd promised to fund a computer for every secondary school student in years nine to 12. He says he has asked the head of the Prime Minister's department to draft a cabinet submission to implement the plan. That will be agenda item number one for the first meeting of the Cabinet.
